Crunchy Granola Goodness

Hearty granola for your next yogurt parfait, trail mix or just a tasty topping!

Preparation

  1. Mix brown sugar, canola oil, honey, salt, cinnamon and vanilla.
  2. Combine in large bowl with oats. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Spread granola evenly on sheet pan.
  4. Bake as follows:
    • Conventional oven: 250 ?F for 1 hour, 15 minutes (or until golden)
    • Convection oven: 200 ?F for 1 hour, 15 minutes (or until golden)
  5. Remove from oven and let cool for at least 2 hours.
  6. Fold in fold in coconut.

  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 15 oz. dry, rolled oats
  • 2/3 c. shredded, sweetened coconut
