Preparation
CCP: Wash hands thoroughly. Put on clean gloves.
- Place rice in hotel pan ( 20x12x2 1/2). Add salt and water. Mix well.
- Cover pan with foil. Place in oven at 350°F for approximately 30 - 40 minutes, OR cover pan with plastic wrap and cook in steamer at 5 lbs/pressure for 30 minutes.
- Let stand covered for 5 minutes before stirring or serving.
Additional Serving Suggestions
- Use # 8 scoop to serve.
- 1 scoop for Elementary age-grade level
- 1 - 2 scoops for Secondary age-grade level
1 scoop = 1 grain/bread
